Two days training on micro irrigation Under Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchai Yojana “Per Drop More Crop – Micro irrigation” was conducted by the Precision Farming Development Centre, ICAR-CISH, Lucknow to up-gradation of the technical knowledge of the Deputy Directors/ DHOs and staff of the Horticulture and Food Processing Department, Uttar Pradesh at ICAR-CISH, Lucknow during 29-30 September, 2016. About 35 Deputy Directors/DHOs of the State Horticulture Department were participated in the same. During the technical session, detailed deliberations on drip irrigation system, its components, installation, operation and maintenance and its use in different horticultural crops along with field visit on-field practical training was given.
